PT-22 (Pavement Test Core Drill)

What separates the PT-22?

Optional Safety Control Panel allows operator to pivot panel from one side of the machine to the other.

Standard Equipment
Power Unit –
Diesel (2) two cylinder engine, 12-volt electric starting. 31 HP @ 3000 rpm.

Drill Head - 
AW6-S hydraulic drill head with 30" [76 cm] spindle travel, hand chuck with AW rod chuck jaws and thread protector.
RPM in Each Gear Range -
1st Gear - 204 RPM
2nd Gear - 422 RPM
3rd Gear - 772 RPM
4th Gear - 1,302 RPM

Transmission -
4-speed automotive type transmission with one speed in reverse.

Water Pump –

Progressive cavity Moyno 1L3 mud pump. Capacity is 7.6 GPM at 225 psi.

 

Accessories –

Water Swivel, Hoses, Spindle Adapter.

 

Trailer Mounting –

Two wheel trailer with 200 gallon water tank and a two door single tool box.  Includes retractable dolly wheel on towing tongue, electric brakes and controls, safety equipment and lights, and three hydraulic leveling jacks.
 

Truck Mounting –

Also available for truck mounting.

Centering Guide –

Mounted on two double-acting hydraulic cylinders.  Guides up to 13" o.d. core barrels.


Dual Axis Slide Base - 

Forward and backward movement is 12". Lateral movement is 6" either side of center.

Electric Clutch –
Water pump electric clutch driven by a v-belt and 12-volt electric clutch from the cranking end of the power unit.  The pump electric clutch is controlled at the operator's station.

Safety Shutdown –
The safety shutdown simultaneously disengages the main engine clutch and applies a hydraulic disc brake to the drill spindle. The safety shutdown controls are located at the operator's station.

Safety Control Panel (Trailer Mounting) –
Controls conveniently located on a stanchion mounted panel. The unique design allows the operator to infinitely pivot the panel from the left side of the machine to the right side, providing safer working area.

Hydraulic Leveling Jacks -
Three hydraulic leveling jacks with lock check valves. Two rear, one front.
